In the Chester play there is colourful elab- oration in the characters of Mrs Noye and her Gossips, who provide an element of comedy. On 5th July 2023, two hundred young performers and four hundred audience packed out St Gabriel's, Pimlico for our original production of Benjamin Britten's community opera. The performance followed six weeks of educational workshops in five of our partner schools using the story as a tool for teaching about climate change I created this profile of the production of Benjamin Britten's "Noye's Fludde" at the Los Angeles Cathedral on April 19th and 20th, 2013. Performance conduc Noye's Fludde, completed in December 1957 and first performed during the 1958 Aldeburgh Festival, is his most extended and elaborate work for children.In common with Saint Nicolas and The Little Sweep, the work is written in such as way as to combine professional and amateur performers, the music often tailored to take account of the abilities of less accomplished players but without any Noye's Fludde is one of Benjamin Britten's best-loved works.
