2012. Venice House is a residence for a couple and their dog in Venice Beach adjacent to the original network of canals. As an extension and modification project, the body of the prior 1940's bungalow establishes a set of control points for the new project. At the apex of the original pitched roof, the center point of a sculptural clerestory Predock_Frane Architects was established by Hadrian Predock and John Frane in the year 2000 as a collaborative research and development design studio.
