Nestled on Bught Road, Whin Park is a picturesque recreational area, offering a host of amenities. The park is home to four well-developed adventure zones. Crashed planes, zip rides, climbing slides, and many more attractions form the park's exciting features. A trim trail inside the park remains popular with grown-ups as well as teenagers. Leisure seekers can take a pleasant stroll at the Explore Whin Park in Inverness. There's 4 separate adventure play areas, a boating pond and you can ride on the Ness Islands narrow gauge railway! Whin Park boasts 4 separate adventure play areas within it's confines and the fun physical play equipment includes zip lines, cool crashed plane feature and climbing structures with slides, plus Whin Park Boating provides customers with the opportunity to hire row boats in the centre of Inverness the capitol of the Highlands. The row boats can accommodate up to four people and each boat hire will last for 30 minutes. There is a play park, small railway, shop for refreshments and cafe close by. When passing through Inverness we spent a few hours here with two kids (ages 3 and 5). They enjoyed playing on the climbing frame, swings etc. Had great fun on the little train (£2.50 per person) and had a slush each from the little take away cafe (coffee for the adults).
