Enjoy this 9.8-mile out-and-back trail near Llanfairfechan, Conwy. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 6 h 5 min to complete. This is a popular trail for camping, hiking, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit The Nordsøstien takes you on a beautiful walk close to the coast to the Kattegat, and moves you further north to the popular tourist and holiday town of Øster Hurup. In the winter months, there can be a chilly wind at the coast, and it would therefore be a good idea to bring a windproof jacket. There will be benches on the route, so you have the opportunity to take a break along the way and Drum, Foel Fras and Aber Falls from Aber. This route is an epic walk. It wasn't meant to be so long, it just felt like a good idea to extend the walk a little. Route Description for Aber Falls to Foel Fras. From the car park, take the path signed for Aber Falls, which heads south along the eastern shores of the Afon Rhaeadr-Fawr. At the fork, take the left and continue along the path until you reach the waterfall.
