The Wopsononock Hotel first opened in early July of 1889 while the Wopsy Railroad didn't first run from Juniata to Wopsy until June 11, 1891. The hotel featured 60 well-furnished, comfortable rooms. Conrad also went to trade shows, flea markets and the like for memorabilia on anything Wopsy related. Once, she spent $20 on a photo postcard, and it has become one of her favorites.
