Southeast Asian Arts Residency For artists and arts managers in any discipline from AND based in ASEAN nations only (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam). The residencies are intended to provide an opportunity to live and engage in artistic work at Rimbun Dahan in Malaysia, The Choreographer's Residency provides free: self-contained accommodation with kitchen facilities, access to the dance studio and other arts spaces at Rimbun Dahan, networking contacts with the local dance community and limited production assistance for a final showing, determined on a case-by-case basis. Artists from ASEAN nations can receive Rimbun Dahan Residency - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2016) Choreographic Residency. Supported by the Asia New Zealand Foundation and Creative New Zealand, through the Tup Lang Choreographic Award, Borderline choreographer Lucy Marinkovich undertook two arts residencies in South East Asia over three months in 2016.A short-list of artists will be made by the selection panel.
