CHILD WATCH OPTIONS FOR FAMILY MEMBERSHIPSWhile you exercise or relax at the Y, children can play under the supervision of trained YMCA staff. Children engage in playtime activities that foster learning and social interaction. YMCA staff members are trained to ensure the safety and well-being of the children in their care, so that parents can confidently pursue their fitness goals and take Child Watch is available for youth ages 6 weeks-12 years and is included as a YMCA Family Membership benefit with a maximum of two hours per visit at all of our branches. Children may be divided into smaller age groupings during peak times and will be in areas with engaging age-appropriate activities. Activities vary by center and include: Child Watch "The staff were so helpful and great with the kids!" Child Watch is available for parents who would like to bring their children to the YMCA while using the facility. Children must have at least one parent in the building while utilizing Child Watch services. Ages: 6 weeks - 6 years old 1 1/2 hours per day. Schedules Child Watch is a FREE drop-in daycare service for ages 6 weeks to 10 years. This service is available for those with YMCA Family Memberships and the child must be part of the family unit. Child Watch has designated hours and care is available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Chippewa Falls YMCA, Eau Claire Downtown YMCA, & Eau Claire Child Watch. As a benefit for our members, each YMCA offers free Child Watch for up to 2 hours per day as you work out or relax in our facility. Children are welcome between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years.
