By Road: Well-connected by roads, the temple is Legends of Guruvayur Temple - Abode of Lord Krishna. Guruvayur is regarded as a combination of three words - Guru for Guru Brihaspati, Vayu for God of wind, and Ur means land in the local language Malayalam. Brihaspati is said to have deified the murti of Shri Krishna that he found at the beginning of Kaliyuga along with the Vayudeva. In East Delhi, there is a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna which is called the Sri Uttara Guruvayurappan Temple. The temple located in Mayur Vihar was built in the year 1983 and is often visited by the natives of Delhi and nearby places. Uthara Guruvayurappan Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu located at Nanganallur, a well-known locality in Chennai City in Tamil Nadu.
