DIRECTOR OF MUSIC, EDWARD K. BIELER: (11/26/1945 - 2/2/22) Ed was a life-long member of the Palm Schwenkfelder Church. He began participating in the church's music program as a member of the Junior Choir. He became the Senior Choir Director in 1971, and the Director of music in 2011. Ed enjoyed playing the tuba in the community's Red Hill Nick & Niki Chybrzynski. From my early years I struggled with addiction, depression, fatherlessness and a world of other issues that were bound to destroy me. In 1996, at the age of 15, while seemingly at the end of my rope, a friend introduced me to the hope of Jesus Christ. That night would change my life forever, taking me from the street Nick Vujicic came into the world with no arms and no legs, but only a six-inch appendage with two toes on the left side of his torso, and no medical explanation. The whole church wondered why God would allow the pastor's son to be born with such a birth defect. But Nick grew up with a different perspective. Before Christ, Nick was a drug dealer and getting high became a daily routine to function for him. During that time in Nick's life he was stuck, and tried to get out over and over Nick serves as Senior Pastor of Valley Creek Church. Nick is originally from Indiana and attended Indiana University in Bloomington for his undergraduate studies. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and was heavily involved in Campus Crusade for Christ.
