Born in Argentina in 1976, designer Marcelo Burlon moved to Italy in 1990 with his parents and in 1997 relocated to Milan. Here, he worked as a gatekeeper in one of the city's hottest night destinations - Magazzini Generali, where he became friends with Riccardo Tisci and Raf Simons. Then, he began DJ-ing and fell into PRs, where Tisci was Marcelo Burlon has worn many hats in the realm of fashion, manifesting into the role of creative director of his self-titled label in 2012. The Argentinian-born Milan-based designer has imprinted his artistic reign in the industry with recognizable motifs and shapes, edgy prints, and vivid use of color.
