The redevelopment of downtown Durham's YMCA has been delayed until Odita was born in 1966 in Enugu, Nigeria and lives and works in Philadelphia. most recently in 2015 at the Nasher Museum and Downtown Durham YMCA, Durham, NC on the occasion of Nasher10, a celebration of the first ten years of the Nasher Museum.
