Jeff Blodgett, executive director of Wellstone Action, ran Paul Wellstone's 1990, 1996 and 2002 Senate campaigns. To learn more about Camp Wellstone and Jeff Blodgett has spent the last thirteen years as a senior aide, advisor, and manager to former U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone. In addition to his significant experience on campaigns and in politics, Blodgett also has extensive experience in non-profit advocacy as the previous head of The Alliance Project. He is a resident of St Paul, Minnesota, and is also a Kennedy School of Government alum. Jeff Blodgett, a 1983 Carleton College graduate and the director of Wellstone Action!, will give a reading from his book, "Politics the Wellstone Way: How to Elect Progressive Candidates and Win on Issues," on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. at Carleton College's Olin Hall, Room 149. A book signing will follow. The event is free and open to the public. But they'll have to get through Jeff Blodgett to do it. The Carleton College grad helped the late-Sen. Paul Wellstone get elected and was at his side as a senior adviser through Wellstone's tragic death in 2002.
