Can Infact no CICS handle commands like HANDLE CONDITION, HANDLE ABEND or IGNORE CONDITION can intercept SOC abends because of the fact that they are not CICS command errors but COBOL abends. But ASRA is a abend issued by CICS. The reason may be data exception but it is distinctly different from SOC, which is a COBOL abend. 4. I'm guessing you mean ASRA for the abend code. Look in the core dump, if you have compiled with the TEST option you should have a formatted dump showing your Working-Storage, Local-Storage, and Linkage Section variables and their values.
