By News Editor. February 18, 2024. Odema Izegbua Akerele, daughter of former Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh is dead. Odema died on 9th February, 2024. She was 42 years old. She was laid to Audu Innocent Ogbeh was born in Otukpo on the 28th of July 1947 to the family of late Pa Ogbeh Ejembi and Madam Egbi Ogbeh (nee Odinya), both of Efugo-Otukpa in the present day Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State. His late father was a renowned farmer, community leader and disciplinarian while The name Audu Ogbeh caught national attention in 1979 when he was elected as deputy speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly. On October 18, 1979, President Shehu Usman Aliyu Shagari submitted 31 names to the Senate for ministerial confirmation. Benue State had two cabinet nominees, Chief Isaac Shaahu and Chief Paul Unongo. Chief Audu Ogbeh is an administrator, educationist farmer, politician.
