An all-around perfect movie and one that merits a watch. 1964 was a very good year. The Beatles were at the top of their game, still pretty much friends, and still under the happy tutelage of George Martin and the doting care of Brian Epstein; the happier facets of the 1960s life were in full swing; and a whole generation of Baby Boomers were growing up to the phenomenal soundtrack of melody-capped, harmony-driven classic pop-rock.
