Rometti ha sede a Umbertide, dove è stata fondata nel 1927. Da allora ha prodotto costantemente vasi, piatti e sculture di altissima qualità, senza subire interruzioni nemmeno durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Rometti è stata all'avanguardia nella ceramica europea, essendo una delle prime aziende ad allontanarsi dallo stile neorinascimentale dei primi anni Trenta. Dal 1927 Rometti perpetua l'arte della ceramica italiana.
