Registered charity Lichfield Arts brings our community and volunteers together in a vibrant, accessible and unique way, bringing the excitement and thrill of live music, concerts, festivals and the arts to Lichfield within iconic venues across the city. Our journey - 1974 to present. Lichfield Arts was formed in the early nineteen seventies by an enthusiastic team of volunteers who were keen to promote the arts in the city of Lichfield. Then called the Lichfield District Arts Association (LDAA), the organisation was formed as an umbrella for various different associations. In this conversation. Verified account Brian first volunteered for Lichfield Arts in the 80's to run the bar, and was appointed administrator and then director in the 90's. Besides formulating the artistic programme, he introduced the Real Ale, Jazz & Blues Festival in 1990, followed by beer festivals. Brian was founding director of Fuse for 11 years before finally retiring in 2011. Our Venues.
