L'Association des Chercheurs de Politique africaine (ACPA) a été créée en mai 1980 dans le but de publier et de gérer la revue. L'ACPA est composée d'environ 80 chercheurs, de diverses nationalités, et de toutes les disciplines des sciences sociales.
